Where to buy in Bulgaria when visiting from the UK

Choose an area around the trips you would actually make. Use these three starting points to compare an apartment, a town address and a village house before you book viewings.

Start with one base and two or three confirmed viewings. Ask for the actual property pins before you build a route.

Make the viewing route work

Open the area guide first and choose a town base. Use the village map to get your bearings. Ask the agent for the exact entrance, and allow time to drive or walk one ordinary route from the property itself. Check current UK travel requirements and transport timetables before booking.

Give each candidate a short note on ownership, access and annual costs. A cheap village house can be a good fit if the access and upkeep suit you. A flat may make short trips easier if the building’s charges, rules and condition work for your plans.
