A Bulgarian property viewing checklist for UK buyers
Use the same checklist at every viewing. Photograph what you can compare later, then leave time for a second visit or specialist inspection if a question affects your budget.
Save the exact property pin as well as the village name. Try one ordinary journey from the front door before choosing between areas.
Make the trip answer a real question
Pick one town base and a short list of confirmed appointments. Give the first viewing enough time to test the route, speak to the seller and look at the boundaries. If you want a year-round home, try a trip you would make in a normal week rather than judging only the drive from the airport.
After each visit, mark any open questions for the lawyer, the surveyor or the seller. Keep the answers next to that property’s reference and avoid using one property’s access or utilities as evidence for another.
